Aside from its new Acer Swift 7 and Spin 3, Acer also introduces its new Chromebook 11 with a host of next-gen features to go along with it. If you would like to read our review of the previous iteration, you can click on the link here.

Acer promises its new Chromebook 11 to come with up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. It also comes equipped with the entire Google ecosystem, including Google Drive and Gmail to name a few. The new Google Chromebook from Acer will be able to enjoy all the finer things in life from the Google Play Store, giving it access to millions of Google Android apps.
The Chromebook 11 rocks an Intel Celeron processor and comes with 4GB of memory and with two storage options: 16GB or 32GB of eMMc storage. The Chromebook 11 also comes with a unique fan-less design, making it a silent, yet portable device that you can bring anywhere and everywhere.
To keep all your devices connected, the Chromebook 11 comes with two USB 3.1 Type-C Gen. 1 ports, which can be used in a plethora of ways. Through the ports, you can charge devices and even transfer over files in a blink of an eye. You can also connect the Chromebook 11 to a HD monitor if you ever needed a bigger screen. It also comes with a microSD card reader to transfer more files if needed.
Aside from the two next-gen USB ports, there are also two USB 2.0 ports alongside Bluetooth 4.2. A definite let-down as more devices are slowly leaning towards the new Bluetooth 5.0.
There are two new variants for the Chromebook 11 – touchscreen or non-touchscreen flavours. Both come with an 11.6in IPS display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. A high dynamic range (HDR) camera is new to the Chromebook 11, ensuring video-calls and Google Hangouts are crispy clear. Keeping up with Acer’s slim form-factor designs, the Chromebook 11 is only 18.15mm thin and weighs in at 1.15kg.
Both touchscreen and non-touchscreen (CB311-8HT/ CB311-8H) variants of the Chromebook 11 will be available in North America come April 2018, starting at US$249 (approx. RM995.38). Both models will also be making its way to EMEA in March 2018 at €249 (approx. RM1,197.49).
