Celcom First One Plan Now Gives 3GB For RM48

celcom rm48

Celcom has not only dropped price on its First One Plan from RM68 to RM48 but is upping the offer with an additional 1GB of data.

The new plan is limited till end of this month in conjunction with Merdeka Celebration, PC.com first posted the special deal when it was introduced. Postpaid customers need only sign up now till 31st August, and receive an RM20 rebate which will bring the plan to RM48 with 2GB plus now another 1GB, a 60 minute voice call and 60 sms to any network package on the latest offering. The better deal among the 2 giants in the mobile telecommunication scene.

Maxis recently upped the data offerings to 8GB for the MaxisOne Plan and comparatively SurfMore offers 2GB for RM50 and RM30 you will get 1GB of data with charges on voice and sms separate, not so compelling. Closest that could rival Celcoms offer would be U Mobile with their U 28 plan that gives 3GB data with 50 minute talk time and 300 free sms across all networks which also expires by end August. But network coverage for 4G LTE is still ongoing.

Looks like Celcom is pushing the buttons on this for now. Anyways competition sparks creativity and better deals for the customers. Times are looking good for data consumers as these price slashes could get better when mobile operators clamber for market share.
