Celcom has patriotically released a “special postpaid limited offer package” in conjunction with the coming independence day, the Celebrate Merdeka with First One Plan offers customers to switch to the blue operator for just RM48 a RM20 rebate from the current price. Offer period will be from 3rd August till 31st of the same month.

Whats inside?

The promotion pack consists of 2GB internet, 60 minutes of calls to all networks and 60 sms to all networks, the RM20 is only applicable for those who register within the promo period and is in a form of rebate as long as one remains ‘active’ within the plan. However upon utilisation of the free minutes and sms, a flat fee of RM0.20 will be charged on both services, you will also be pleased to know Celcom has a highly advance monitoring system to alert customers via sms on data usage when they reach 80 to 100 percent, so they will know what to do next.

However you will not be able to enjoy the special package while roaming as the offer is strictly for within Malaysia and if you’re a foreigner you can apply for the plan with a RM100 deposit, unfortunately the plan is for new customers only, existing postpaid or prepaid customers with Celcom are not eligible.
