ASUS ROG and Intel have just been announced as the official sponsor for the upcoming Garena Student Alliance (GSA) Championship 2017 this coming November. This nationwide eSports campus tournament will offer partial scholarships worth RM62,000.

A Malaysia League of Legends (LoL) team will be picked to join the upcoming Join the Republic: Community Challenge in Stockholm, Sweden in early 2018. Malaysia will face stiff competition against the likes of Taiwan, South Korea, America and China.

For the GSA Championship 2017, 32 universities nationwide will be participating in two main events, which includes LoL and EA Sports Fifa Online 3 (FO3). Each university is allowed to register a total of four LoL teams and 16 individuals for FO3.
