Just head from a new source:
Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip will likely launch on February 14th. It retails at $1400. It's possible it is an AT&T exclusive again, but this time it might be a timed exclusive. It will also be available unlocked.— Max Weinbach (@MaxWinebach) January 27, 2020
As of late, there has been no shortage of leaks when it comes to Samsung’s Galaxy S20 lineup and their Galaxy Z Flip. Like literally, every week, for the past 4 weeks, we’ve had a leak. And this time, it’s confirming some of the details that we’ve been missing; the price and release date. But now, Max Weinbach, prominent leaker has revealed some information regarding the supposed launch and prices. According to his source, the Galaxy Z Flip will launch on February 14th for $1400 USD (RM ~5720).
S20, S20+, S20 Ultra will likely be available first Friday of March. S20 Ultra should retail for $1300.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup on the other hand is “likely” to be available on the first Friday in March, and he also gives us a estimate for the S20 Ultra at $1300 USD (RM ~5300). No word on the rest of the devices, but we should be getting relatively similar prices to the S10 and S10+. Well, here’s hoping anyway.
Besides the prices and supposed launch date, he also mentions that the S20 series phones will have IP68 water resistance at 5 meters. Which is cool I guess, but to be expected out of a Samsung device. Oh, and they’ll have pre-installed screen protectors, but that doesn’t really matter? I feel like people get rid of them the moment they get tempered glass, anyway.
But one thing’s for sure, if these leaks are to be believed, the prices are actually quite high. The Z Flip was first reported to be an $800 device, but that turns out to have been very wrong. The closer we get to release, the more accurate leaks are, so I’m willing to trust these leaks. Well looks like we still have to wait for Samsung’s event, so stay tuned for the official details of these devices coming soon.
