For fast and stable connectivity, ASUS expands its ASUS Lyra range. This includes the ASUS Lyra Voice and Trio Wi-Fi mesh system, and its ASUS RT-AX88U router. This ASUS Wi-Fi ecosystem improves the connectivity within your home, ensuring you get the best out of your connection.
ASUS Lyra Voice

Winner of the CES 2018 Innovation Award, the ASUS Lyra Voice is a two-in-one 802.11ac mesh Wi-Fi system with voice assistance. Housing stereo speakers and a microphone, you can now communicate and interact with Amazon Alexa. As a tri-band AC2200-class device, the ASUS Lyra Voice connects with other ASUS Lyra hubs to ensure there are no Wi-Fi dead zones.
The ASUS Lyra Voice also benefits from trigger and automation services like IFTTT, turning a traditional household into a connected smart home. Configuration and control over this smart hub can be done through the intuitive Lyra app on your smartphone.
Interesitngly, it is a completely different design as compared to the first iteration of the white-domed ASUS Lyra range.
ASUS Lyra Trio

As for the ASUS Lyra Trio, it is a dual-band multi-hub Wi-Fi mesh system. It connects with the ASUS Lyra Voice to provide Wi-Fi coverage in every corner of your home. Featuring 3×3 MIMO technology, it provides seamless roaming Wi-Fi connectivity by connecting users to the best possible connection. It also comes with always-on privacy protection for all devices connected to the Lyra ecosystem.
Much like the ASUS Lyra Voice, the ASUS Lyra Trio also features a brand new design, this time in a pyramid shape.
ASUS RT-AX88U
The ASUS RT-AX88U from ASUS is the only new entry not part of the ASUS Lyra range. Rocking a dual-band router that houses next generation 802.11ax wireless connectivity, it promises ultra-fast connectivity speeds of up to 6,000Mbps. Thanks to the combination of both OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology, the ASUS RT-AX88U provides faster throughput as compared to the standard 802.11ac. This means better connectivity on traffic-dense environments, while also improving network capacity and efficiency on connected devices.
Featuring four powerful antennas, the ASUS RT-AX88U will provide stronger coverage, stable connections and easy connectivity for multiple users. It also has better uplink and downlink, thanks to its use of eight Gigabit LAN ports and Mu-MIMO technology. To protect itself from internet security threats, it include AiProtection, a commercial-grade security network by Trend Micro.
