Xbox One Will be Able to Stream to Oculus Rift by December

Microsoft is preparing to their Xbox One for Oculus Rift support in the coming weeks. This will come in the form of a free app which will allow Rift owners who also own a Windows 10 PC and an Xbox One console to run Xbox One games on the Rift VR device.

This works by rendering the game on Xbox One, and sending the rendered images through the local network via Xbox One Streaming. The app, which might end up being called ‘Xbox One Streaming to Oculus Rift’ will pick that signal up and send it to the Rift. Stay tuned for the app’s launch on the 12th of December 2016.
