Vuzix Corporation  has started ramping up production of its iWear Video Headphones. The Company is expecting full production levels within the coming month or so, as the supply chain accelerates its deliveries.

Along with improving supplier quality and higher yields, the newly qualified components have significantly improved the optical performance of the iWear Video Headphones in areas including contrast, color, and general optical performance.

The company has also upgraded its iWear firmware and PC software to its latest 1.3 revision with improved head tracking and is continuing to grow its virtual reality title support.

The iWear now also have a much improved light shield with soft cloth covers over foam with a molded rigid mount to the iWear, for a more comfortable and immersive fit.
