Muhammad Izwan Hafiz and Muhammad Syafei from UiTM have been declared the winning team of the Grand Final Campus Masterchef Challenge bring home a winning prize of RM 10,000 cash and certificates.

The winning team’s dishes were fish roulade, crusted duck with green curry sauce accompanied with Masala Vadai Ball and Puding Raja Tart with Cream of Anglaise and Assorted Fruits.

Champion of MasterChefMY, Fazley Yaakob and the judge during the final ground said the dish presented was a very interesting dish, and deserving to be one the first prize.

Meanwhile, General Manager Midea Scott & English Electronics Sdn. Bhd. (MIDEA), Mark Tam Thuck Chuen commented, “the pandemic has shifted more interest into cooking. With the new normal, using the right appliances when cooking at home is crucial as it helps us to cook efficiently within a short time frame.”

“Realising the food is something close and what binds us, this platform is to showcase our product and hone the new generation of Masterchef,” Mark said.

MIDEA is a young brand and produces a good quality product very functional to enhance one’s cooking experience.

80 universities from nationwide have participated in this cooking competition organised by MIDEA Scott & English Electronic competition Campus MasterChef Challange (CMC) commenced from previous Feb 5 and four team has been chosen for the final battle.
