Moonton, eGG Network & HOG Esports team up to bring MPL Myanmar to new heights
eGG Network will now be involved in the new season of Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) in Myanmar! The Malaysian based Esports platform is leading the way in exporting local Esports expertise to the ASEAN region and is now in 8 countries. With the support of Astro, eGG Network has achieved a wide range of services to effectively make it a 360° Esport marketing platform and tournament organizer.
Having first partnered with Moonton for the inaugural edition of the MPL, the partnership has now achieved a new milestone in 2019 with eGG Network’s involvement in MPL Myanmar Season 2.
CK Lee, Head of Sports, Astro said, “eGG Network is proud to be working alongside HOG Esports in Myanmar, a first for eGG Network’s longstanding partnership with game developer Moonton. We started MPL with MY/SG Season 1 and this has now landed in other regions. We have also successfully produced 2 seasons of MPL MY/SG, with season 3 ongoing.
This is a milestone for us as we strive for the development of esports in Malaysia, working alongside government bodies with shared goals of a successful and sustainable industry. Our talent and expertise has grown over our years of experience to become the gateway of esports in Southeast Asia. This would be our biggest regional project yet, and we’re aiming for greater opportunities together with our partners.”
Season 2 will boast an increased prize pool of US$40,000 and is expected to kick off on 29 March 2019. Be sure to catch it on Facebook Gaming!
