We got to admit Singapore based Razer make great gaming peripherals and accessories, when the gaming notebooks Blade series came out, they were just what gamers expected from the company, developed by gamers for gamers.

After much waiting, they have now announced the new 17-inch Razer Blade Pro a completely redesigned from ground up system made specifically for enthusiasts and power users who want desktop performance but don’t want to sacrifice portability.

Fitted with the latest Intel Core i7 quad-core processor and next-generation NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU, its considered on of the more powerful and thinnest machine at just 0.88 inches. The Pro includes a Thunderbolt 3 connectivity options, 32 GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory, up to 2 TB of PCI M.2 SSD in RAID 0 storage and a built-in SD card reader. Specifications commonly found on desktop replacements at much thicker and heavier systems.

Thermal management system on Blade Pro is quite remarkable,  which includes the worlds thinnest manufactured vapor chamber cooling solution in a notebook. The vapor chamber reduces heat resistance and hotspots by spreading heat quickly, evenly and efficiently with a custom fan design and dynamic heat exchanger are paired with the vapor chamber to maximize heat dissipation.

A 17.3-inch 4K IGZO monitor with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology produces smooth framerates. The display offers 100 percent Adobe RGB color accuracy delivering stunning visuals. Ultra-Low-Profile Mechanical switches offer true actuation and reset point with presses registered with 65 grams of force, mimicking the feel of full-size mechanical keyboards. Playing VR games is a breeze as the hardware requirements exceed most VR devices.

Retail price for the Blade Pro is set a US$3,699 approximately RM15,000.
