THIS IS NOT A DRILL; All Six Seasons Of Community Is NOW Available On Netlfix

What came on a day of foolery, April Fool’s Day, is not a prank, in fact, it’s great news. Yes, the highly acclaimed (to me anyway) sitcom revolving around your favourite community college students is now available on Netflix. This show is fantastic, and comes at a very welcome time considering we’re all stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the extended Movement Control Order (MCO).

I used to watch Community back in high school, and me and a friend, essentially encapsulated Troy and Abed. Literally the best part about the show. For a quick summary of the show, here’s what Google had to say:

“A lawyer, whose law degree has been revoked, is compelled to join the Greendale Community College. Students of diverse temperaments join his study group which leads to quirky and memorable encounters.”

And if you haven’t checked it out, now’s a great time to do it. Considering the show has spawned iconic memes such as:

Okay fine Señor Chang is most of the iconic memes. But hey, if that hasn’t convinced you yet, they’ve got a superstar cast with: Alison Brie (Annie Edison), Joel McHale (Jeff Winger), Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino (Troy Barnes), Ken Jeong (Señor Chang), and Chevy Chase (Pierce Hawthorn) among others. They’re all talented, the show is actually funny with dumb antics, jokes and a surreal environment that no show has been able to draw me into since.

Plus, it’s a welcome change to watching reruns of Modern Family, Brooklyn 99, Friends, and whatever comedy/sitcom is on Netflix. I’m literally so bored of all of it.

Community has given me hope at a time I needed it most.
