The pioneer of mobile phones, Nokia, has been told to return. On the 24th February, HMD Global has announced their groundbreaking comeback for not only one, but five all-new Android smartphones and feature phones and also two new companion products; the Nokia Wireless Charger and Nokia Portable Wireless Charger, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2019. The smartphones line-ups include the Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 1 Plus, with the interesting addition of the feature phone family of Nokia itself, Nokia 210.
The hype then continues to rise when HMD Global introduces us with the of the world’s first smartphone to built with five camera array equipped with ZEISS Optics technology, which is the Nokia 9 PureView, challenging the quad-camera phone existed by Samsung. The company proceeds to revolutionize the existing relationship between users and their smartphones by adding a very useful feature. Nokia smartphones – starting with the Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2, will now take the application of Google Assistant to a new degree – simply with only one touch of a button. To justify, although it is quite impressive, it is yet to top the technology of Google Assistant for the Google Pixel family – they are far ahead with voice recognition.
The Android (Go Edition) smartphone family also to expand with the addition of the new Nokia 1 Plus, for it is said to be one of the first global Android 9 Pie (Go Edition). HMD Global also appends the feature phone, Nokia 210 to their market list, now with a massive improvement – easier access to the internet. Nokia 210 comes with the classic Opera Mini as a browser for user to be able to get connected to the web and for the best one yet, not to have to worry about its battery life. More life, more time!
Following the technology stream, two new accessories was announced in conjunction to the new phones; Nokia Wireless Charger and Nokia Wireless Portable Charger. However, as stirring as it gets, Nokia is still a step behind from their vast competitor, which most of them now has the ability to Powershare from one phone to another.
Nokia’s home company now provides a wide range of diversity in choices of phones but still keeping their consumers’ priorities intact – affordable yet functional.
