Ubisoft’s newest looter shooter, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game revolves around shooting bad guys, getting guns, and just exploring the expansive environment. Taking place 7 months after The Division in New York, The Division 2 is set in Washington. Touted as an Online RPG, players will be able to cooperate with each other to complete objectives, and even go on Raids with 8 other players.
The Division 2 is a game I was personally very excited for and will be picking up soon. Not as many games have the third person view these days. Even CyberPunk 2077 will be a first person shooter. There’s something satisfying about shooting things in 3rd person, just can’t put my finger on it.
The game will also have Radeon support like a few other games before it. Namely Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2. AMD’s software, Radeon Adrenalin will have Day-0 support. With this comes better performance with Radeon Graphics cards, Radeon FreeSync 2 HDR which brings adaptive refresh display tech and low latency. Also included Asynchronous Compute and Multi-core Utilization. Radeon graphics will provide improved GPU utilization, input latency. This allows The Division 2 to achieve higher framerates and visual fidelity with applicable GPUs.
