AirAsia Adds Sony Wireless Headphones To Premium Flatbed Package

Have you ever had a flight, but gotten to the airport, and realized that you forgot your headphones? Well if you’re flying AirAsia’s Premium Flatbed, they’ve got you. AirAsia will now be providing Flatbed passengers with the Sony WH-1000XM3 noise cancelling headphones. The headphones have adaptive sound control and therefore can adjust to the aircraft environment and surroundings.

Something that I personally find impressive is that these headphones aren’t cheap. They cost RM 1599 and are wireless too. That has it’s advantages for sure, and especially in a plane. While walking about or going to the washroom, you don’t want to deal with wires. Some headsets have especially long wires which I find extremely annoying. You could possibly use the in flight entertainment in the loo as well? I’m not sure about that one, but theoretically, it’s possible.

Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless

In a statement, Sony Malaysia Managing Director Satoru Arai said;

“We are delighted to deliver our Sony WH-1000XM3 wireless noise-cancelling headphones to all AirAsia Premium Flatbed guests, which will take the inflight experience to the next level with Sony’s innovative QN1 processor and deliver a great audio experience 35,000 feet above the ground.”

AirAsia’s premium flatbeds aren’t available for all their flights, but further away flights might have the option. To celebrate the partnership, AirAsia is offering fares on Premium Flatbed from RM 799 for flights. These flights include ones from Kuala Lumpur to Jeju, Tianjin, Taipei, Fukuoka, Perth and others.
