Seagate recently announced that it would be expanding its Game Drive for Xbox series to include SSDs. Just like the Game Drive HDDs, these will work for the Xbox One as well as the Xbox 360. While the hard disks were sold in 2TB and 4TB sizes, the Game Drive for Xbox SSDs will be available in capacities of 512GB only.

This means gamers will only be able to save about 15-20 games on the SSD. The games will benefit from much faster load times though thanks to a USB3.0 connection that allows read/write speeds of near 400 MB/s.
