Samsung have apparently revealed the their latest Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet, their much anticipated cheaper and less powerful Galaxy Tab S6 which released last year.

The Tab S6 Lite features a 10.4″ TFT LCD display, a downgrade from the AMOLED screen on the Tab S6. This essentially means lower colour accuracy and brightness levels. It does keep a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, so that’s nice. On the internals, the Tab S6 Lite sports Samsung’s Exynos 9611 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. But there is a microSD card slot, which allows a storage expansion of up to 1TB. That should keep you going for a while.

Powering the Tab S6 Lite is a bug 7000mAh battery, and for audio, the tablet’s features AKG-tuned speakers and supports Dolby Atmos for better sound experience. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack (thank God), Bluetooth 5.0, and supports Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity.

At the time of writing, it seems that Samsung have removed the Galaxy Tab S6 listing on their Indonesia site, but not before the rest of the world had the time to check out what it’ll be capable of. But just knowing it exists is good enough for me. There’s no pricing or availability details just yet, but we should be hearing about it soon enough.
