Running with Canon 3rd Gen imageRUNNER ADVANCE

Canon iR-ADV3

After much waiting, the Canon 3rd Generation imageRUNNER Advance(iR-ADV) A3 multifunction devices (MFDs) has finally arrived to our shores. These new copiers are refuted to be packed with intelligent features that help improve the efficiency of workflow, such as Wi-Fi connectivity that can allow devices to print and even manage the printer remotely to send back scan images to a wireless devices.

During the launch, Canon also emphasised on the security measures embedded, each copier and printer is equipped with a Hard Disk Drive(HDD) which stores images that the machine processed that could cause security concerns for organisations. The worry of these information being invaded by external parties is avoided as the new iR-ADV prevents these risks with its HDD Data Erase, HDD Password Lock and HDD Encryption which is FIPS 140-2 validated.

Canon iR-ADV2Using smart senses, the machine detects and senses its surrounding environment and automatically adjusts the power mode, its will then go to sleep mode when no users are nearby and wakes up the minute it detects anyone approaching. New on the MFD is the colour display, with touchscreen feature as you can see on the image above, it shows a large bright screen that customers will find ease of use. Offered as an optional external finisher, customers could order their imageRunner with an ECO-Staple.

The new imageRunner Advance Monochrome series, iR-ADV 6500i/8500 is now available at authorised Canon distributors and dealers.
