Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed Again; Slated for 26 October 2018

Once slated for a Spring 2018 release, it looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 will be delayed once more with a new 26 October 2018 release date. This is nothing new in the gaming industry as release dates are often pushed back time and time again.

With Spring 2018 happening between the end of March until the end of June, jumping straight to the end of October is a pretty big leap, even for Rockstar Games’ standard. However, could this possibly mean that the developers are busy working on the Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) updates and that is the sole reason Red Dead Redemption 2 got pushed back?

Clearly that isn’t really the case as the Doomsday Heist in GTA V Online is still fairly new to the game.

Of course, having a big AAA title release much later than expected isn’t always a bad thing. For one, this reduces the chances of there being game-breaking bugs and errors to the game as it gives the developers more time to work out the kinks and fine tune the game. This may be what Rockstar Games is doing instead of releasing it and then look to update and fix the game as it goes along.

Personally, I’d much rather prefer waiting a little bit longer for Red Dead Redemption 2 to come out as it gives Rockstar Games more time to actually make the game amazing.

Are you guys willing to wait for the game to come out on 26 October 2018 or would you have preferred it to release sooner? Let us know in the comments section below!
