realme is on the way to drop another flagship phone, the realme X2 Pro. According to realme, they’re going to be launching the phone on the 2nd of December, and boy oh boy, am I ready for the phone. If you haven’t heard of the X2 Pro before, we’ll run down exactly what the phone will have. The realme X2 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus, has three variants of 6/8/12GB RAM, 6.5″ Super AMOLED 1080p+ display capable of a 90Hz refresh rate, and a quad camera. Safe to say, this thing is well equipped. It might even beat out the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro honestly, especially with a higher refresh rate screen.
The cameras on the phone are a 64MP main cam, 13MP 2x telephoto lens, an 8MP 115-degree ultra wide lens, and 2MP depth sensor. I mean, that’s actually pretty impressive, but one thing I will say is that realme doesn’t have the best software optimisation when it comes to their post picture processing. But anyway, maybe we’ll be surprised with this new phone.
We don’t have details yet, but based on the Chinese launch prices, we could be looking at the following price scheme:
- 6GB + 64GB for CNY2699 (~RM1599) but we predict RM 1499
- 8GB + 128GB for CNY2899 (~RM1717) but we predict RM 1699
- 12GB + 256GB for CNY3299 (~RM1950) but we predict RM 1999
