realme officially announced today that they would be holding the 5G new product global online launch event with the theme of “Speed of the Future” in Madrid, Spain at 10:00 am (5 pm in Malaysia) on February 24th (UTC+01:00). This is where realme will debut their first 5G flagship smartphone, the realme X50 Pro 5G. The launch event live stream starts at 10:00 am (5 pm in Malaysia) February 24th globally in 15+ markets on YouTube, Facebook and realme.com.
The most anticipated piece of hardware with the realme X50 Pro 5G is that it’ll be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platforms, so this will be their first phone with the new processor. Other features that they’ve been announcing is their 65W fast charge dubbed “SuperDart Charge”, a 90Hz AMOLED display, and their new Realme UI.
They’ve also just mentioned that the device will come with 6 cameras capable of a 20x zoom. 6 cameras probably means a quad camera setup on the rear and two front facing shooters.
By all accounts, the realme X50 Pro 5G is set to be a spec monster bring quite a few things to the table. While it’s actual performance is up for debate, at least it’s another competitor against the countless other value-for-money smartphones. This one is probably going to cost you a bit more compared to their other devices, but so far, it’s looking like it’d be worth the money.
