realme Malaysia today launched its realme C3 entry-level smartphone. The C3 is the latest addition to realme’s budget C series, which has 10.2 million users across the globe. Previous versions of the C series have successfully disrupted the entry-level segment of smartphones, and realme are hoping that the C3 will do the same.

The phone features a 12MP+2MP+2MP triple rear camera setup and a 5MP front camera. The rear main camera features a F1.8 large aperture and a large 1.25μm pixel size. Add to this and an automatic HDR mode and features such as Chroma Boost, portrait mode and slow motion video recording, which is difficult to find in this segment, and it’s like you’re getting a McValue Meal here.

Under the hood, you have the  MediaTek Helio G70 processor, an eight-core 12nm processor thats capable of clocking up to 2.0GHz, which realme claims is the best in its segment. The device also comes complete with a triple card slot for dual SIM capabilities and an SD card, which allows you to expand memory up to 256GB. With a massive 5000mAH battery powering all of this, the phone should most definitely hold its own when it comes to gaming, which you wouldn’t have guessed given how cheap it is.

Which brings us to the best part about the device. It’s priced at a mere RM499. That’s right, who would’ve thought you’d be able to get a decent phone for under RM500, eh? With an Antutu benchmark score of over 193,000, the realme C3 no doubt offers the most bang for your buck.
