PUBG MOBILE Super League SEA Spring 2025 Kicks Off In KL

The PUBG MOBILE Super League SEA (PMSL SEA) Spring 2025 is set to take place from Feb 26 to March 9 in Kuala Lumpur, featuring 24 teams from across Southeast Asia competing for a share of the USD 200,000 prize pool.

The top 16 teams will advance to the Grand Finals, which will be held offline in Malaysia from March 14 to March 16, with the exact venue to be announced soon.

This season introduces the Super Weekend format, where 24 teams are divided into three groups and will compete against each other. Each week, only 16 teams will qualify for Super Weekend matches to earn League Points.

A new SMASH RULE will be implemented in the second week. On the final Saturday of league play, a Match Point will be set based on the leading team’s total points plus 10. The first team to reach the Match Point and secure a WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner) on Sunday will claim the highest League Points for the week.

Several new teams will join this season, including HOMEBOIS (HB), Team Secret (TS), eARENA (EA), and MGN VIKINGS ESPORTS (MVKE). Meanwhile, Thailand’s BOOM Esports is aiming to reclaim the crown after losing to Vampire Esports (VPE) in the PMSL SEA Fall 2024.

The PMNC teams that have qualified for this season include KAGENDRA (KGD), ENAM SEMBILAN Esports (69), MAQNA ESPORTS CLUB (MEC), NEW ERA (NWE), TEAM FLASH (FL), STRANGERS Esports (STES), and OsjaTH (OJTH).

VPE’s victory last season also secured an additional slot for their local PMNC team, TEM Entertainment, to qualify for this tournament. If a PMNC team wins this season, they will automatically qualify for the next PMSL SEA.

The tournament is hosted by PUBG MOBILE and organised by VSPO, with TECNO as the official smartphone partner. Fans can follow PUBG MOBILE’s official platforms for live updates.
