Headbang Club and Hound Picked Games has revealed that Double Kick Heroes will be released physically on Nintendo Switch. It is limited to 900 standard edition and 1900 Steelbook edition by Red Art Games.
The game’s incredible OST will also be released featuring all of the game’s tracks on a triple vinyl set through G4F-Records, along with the release.
The Double Kick Heroes is a post-apocalyptic game with a big metal shooter as the subject of the game plot. Your group must survive at a barren land all the way directed to hell. For that, you will be confronted with a group of chained zombies with your Gundillac on a pulsating metal.
The game has more than 150,000 players around the world and was nominated for Best Audio Awards at the Pegasus 2021. In Gamescom 2017, it also won “Best Indie” Gamescom 2017 and tons of other awards for gameplay and soundtrack.
The lineup for the soundtracks are international bands like Gojira, Ultra Vomit, Jinjer, Carpenter Brut, Psykup, Sidilarsen and featuring artists like Patrick Rondat, Bumblefoot, Volkor X, orchestrated by el famoso Elmobo.
The full story mode comes with 50 kerranging songs, including the OST Volume 2 Update, by top artists such as Ultra Vomit, Volkorx, Gorod, Jinjer, Carpenter Brut and Gojira. It has 5 difficulty settings and Unique Rhythm shooter mashup with incredibly detailed pixel art as well a lot of accessibility options.
