Celcom customers both Xpax prepaid and on postpaid have been facing issues on their activity with the network, where some could not perform certain actions like call unbarring and reloading due to a problem at the operators technical facility.
The telco has been quick to issue a statement on its Facebook page and is working to fix the disruption as soon as it can. According the statement, the incident happened due to a power spike at one of its facility, it also stated customers will experience delays when activating and reloading Xpax, registering for Postpaid plans, changing of plans and call unbarring.
Having just completed its upgrades on most of its sites with modern 4G switches, the operator is still facing niggling issues with network stability. We are sure these are minor technical glitches which Celcom tech team will be able to sort out very quickly. With regards to the current disruption, the team had assured a full restoration by day end.
