In a suburban park in the neighbourhood of Sydney of Rhodes, a flood of people visiting the park to hunt for rare Pokemons have been a problem for local residents. On weekends, especially at night, 1000 to 1500 people appear in the park just to hunt Pokemon.

Authorities have asked local residents to complaint directly to the developer of the game, Niantic, in the US to get the park removed from the game. After the park was removed, not even one person appear at the park anymore.

When a rare Pokemon was caught, loud noises such as cheers and cars would honk to celebrate the event. With the park removed from the game, the atmosphere has return to normal and no Poke hunters wonder around the park anymore.
