Valve has just released a new update for their Steam Link app for Android that allows users to stream games played on their desktop PC no matter where they are. The new feature, called Steam Link Anywhere, will enable users to users to stream games even if their device is running on a different network or even using mobile data. Previously, users could only stream games from their main gaming PC to devices connected to the same network.

In order to try out Steam Link Anywhere, users will first have to update their app to the latest version on both mobile and their desktop. To do that, go to Settings, then choose the Account tab, and lastly click on Steam Beta to opt-in.

Once you’ve updated to the latest version of the app, you will see an ‘Other Computer’ option on the ‘searching for computers’ screen. This will allow you to pair the Android device to a desktop PC.
