Everyone who’s ever ordered a pizza would immediately recognize the white plastic thingy in the middle of your pie. You know, that thing that looks like a mini table? It turns out it’s called a pizza saver and it prevents the top of the pizza box from collapsing and smooshing your favourite pepperoni pizza.
That being said, IKEA has teamed up with Pizza Hut Hong Kong for a brilliant collaboration to give people the chance to bring a life sized furniture version of a pizza saver to your home! IKEA’s newly introduced all-white Säva table is the perfect table for you to eat your pizza off. It comes with three legs and a circular top, complete with an emblazoned Pizza Hut logo.
To add to the novelty, each table comes packaged in what resembles a pizza box. Of course, the table will come equipped with IKEA’s famous step by step assembly instructions but with a twist. On top of the usual assembly process, the last few steps include calling Pizza Hut, receiving the pizza and placing it on the perfectly-sized table.
