Philips Domestic Appliances has unveiled its latest kitchen innovation in Malaysia with the Airfryer 5000 Series, a multi-functional appliance combining airfrying, steaming, and a hybrid SteamFry function.
The launch aims to offer a more versatile and convenient option for home cooking, particularly for Malaysian families.
The Airfryer 5000 Series features a 7.2-litre capacity, allowing for larger meals, and uses RapidAir™ technology for even cooking.
Its steam function is designed to retain moisture and nutrients, while the SteamFry option combines airfrying with steaming for improved texture and flavour. The appliance also includes a self-cleaning Steam Clean function to simplify maintenance.
At a media launch in Kuala Lumpur, journalists, lifestyle content creators and public personalities participated in hands-on demonstrations and interactive cooking sessions.
Guest influencer Shafique Cute demonstrated how the SteamFry function enhances food quality, while Chef Sarah Huang Benjamin led a “SteamFry Showdown” highlighting the appliance’s versatility and consistent results.

The Airfryer 5000 Series is now available at Harvey Norman outlets in Malaysia, starting from RM799.
