One Company Tries Pokemon GO On Smartglasses

Recon Jet - White Frame - Meteor Gray Lens

Recon, the company that tried to port Pokemon GO so that it could be played unofficially on their smartglasses called Jet (like the Google Glass) had a 50 / 50 success rate in making it a good play. Wearers and players can be more aware of their surrounding when playing the game on the smart glass version than on their smartphone version. The smartphone viewers basically doesn’t allow players to multitask and be aware of their surrounding, which is just bad for health and safety.

The port however, since its not an official one, comes with a lot of bugs, such as not being able to be played other than on Wifi, so that’s not many things that you can do other than sit or stand at one position and hatch your Pokemon eggs. There’s no going to point A to point B to catch Pokemons or battle with other Pokemons since the unofficial app doesn’t work on LTE.

Well at least it’s working and it’s more healthier and safer for the average Pokemon player, since they will be able to multitask between taking care of their surrounding and playing Pokemon GO attentively.
