Nubia has formally announced the Red Magic 3, and they’re ramping up what the phone has to offer. Red Magic 3 is set to succed the Red Magic Mars which just released late 2018. So there really hasn’t been that much time gone since their last iteration of the gaming phones. However, Nubia looks to be changing it up, and making the phone more appealing to all sorts of consumers, rather than just gamers. While aesthetically yes, it definitely looks to be made for the gamiest of gamers, it has its appeals for the mass audience as well.

The screen features a 6.65″ FHD+ ultra widescreen AMOLED with a 90Hz screen refresh rate with a 240Hz touch refresh rate. The phone is also equipped with a massive 5000mAh capacity battery with 27W fast charge system. It also features ICE 2.0 which is a cooling system that integrates a fan inside the chassis with liquid cooling and multi-layer graphite. But that’s not all, because as I mentioned, the phone is now broadening it’s horizons in search of other players who might want a taste of the what it has to offer. Nubia’s Red Magic 3 will be equipped with a 48MP Sony shooter in the rear, and a 16MP front facing camera. While numbers don’t do all the talking, the phone will also allow 8K video recording and a 1920fps slow-mo feature.

All taken into account, the phone looks to be a beast of another kind, the likes which we haven’t seen before. But all this is still talk, and we’ll have to see how it performs when we get it in hand.

The pricing of the phone starts off at 2,899 Yuan (RM 1800 approx.) for the 6GB + 64GB variant.
