Charging an electronic device maybe a nuisance because of the long waiting hours, but a new smart chip about the size of a pea may get your electronic devices fully charged in a mere matter of minutes.

Rachid Yazami an energy scientist from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore has developed a new chip that is able to charge a smartphone in less than 10 minutes. With the chip small enough to be embedded in most batteries, Dr.Yazami hopes it can eventually be incorporated into everything with a battery from smartphones to electric cars. Dr. Yazami is also intends to begin talks with Tesla about embedding the technology in its market leading electrical car brand.

With this new discovery it could bring drastic change to the way we charge our devices, especially with people carrying multiple electronic devices will definitely benefit from it.
