Netflix is so popular that most of my friends want to have it despite its availability only restricted in US and other countries, some of them go to the extent in registering for an account in US and watch it here But all that will soon could be unnecessary!

The movie streaming site is expanding, last month Japan got their first taste of latest Hollywood blockbusters on the service and now Netflix has confirmed Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore to be available by early 2016. Unfortunately they have skirted around Malaysia, could be due to content needing longer approval time from local censorship board or could be broadband speed issues, but the market here is big enough for us to get noticed, after all little Singapore as only 4 million.

The American online provider of on-demand internet streaming, produce shows in HD and even Ultra HD 4K offering award winning television programs like House of Cards, Orange is the New Black for their subscribers. Netflix members connected to the Internet can watch whenever, wherever they like, and on any device they choose and can even start watching on one device, pause, and then pick up where they left off on another, at home or on the go.

Arrival of Netflix could cause some discomfort for local startup iflix, who are offering similar service in this region and only just building their content library whilst Netfilx has over 100 million hours of TV shows and movies.

Netflix will be available at launch on smart TVs, tablets and smartphones, computers and a range of Internet-capable game consoles and set-top boxes.
