Could this be the return of Hellomoto? I sure hope so.

Okay i’m going to be honest. As you probably know, there have been whispers of a reboot for the RAZR series and I am genuinely excited. You don’t understand. That phone was the coolest thing one could own back in the day and I could never afford one. I mean, look at how sleek it is??

And this was back in 2004!!! The demise of Motorola as a cellphone brand saddens me. Not just because they always pushed the boundaries of cell phone design, but also because I feel really old having to explain what Motorola is to the smartphone generation!!!!! Why couldn’t they just adapt?!?! Ugh!!!

Anyway, if leaked renders of Motorola’s new phone are anything to go by, it looks like Motorola may be thinking of entering the flagship market again. Their Android powered devices have always consisted of mid ranged, underwhelming products but this recent leak shows a sleek device with not one, not two, not three but FOUR rear cameras! Could this signal a reboot of the Motorola vs Nokia rivalry of yesteryear? Probably not. So lets talk about this leaked render.

The unnamed phone, shared by established tipster OnLeaks, has four cameras on its rear, arranged in a square. In addition to the four cameras, the device will offer a 6.2-inch display with a teardrop notch and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Other things of note that are visible include a USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack, which is always welcome; no one likes losing dongles!! According to what is printed next to the camera setup, Motorola is promising 48-megapixels in total. There’s also what looks to be an LED flash.

In terms of camera setup, it doesn’t look like Motorola are going to be going the Huawei by implementing different types of camera lenses to achieve different photographic effects so it’s most likely going to be the type of camera setup that’s similar to the Nokia 9 smartphone where an array of cameras with the same lens all shoot simultaneously for a sharper more defined picture.

We’ll have to wait on Motorola’s official announcement for more details on the phone, assuming the phone is even real. Stay tuned for more updates!
