Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 865 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 21, 363 cases, with 7,456 active cases as of October 19. The 865 new cases are broken down as 7 imported and 858 domestic.

455 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 13, 717. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 64.21 percent.

There are currently 99 cases being treated in the ICU, with 32 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 3 to a total of 190.
