Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 1,009 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 36, 434 cases, with 10,503 active cases as of November 5. The 1,009 new cases are broken down as 9 imported and 1,000 domestic.

839 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 25, 654. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 70.4 percent.

There are currently 78 cases being treated in the ICU, with 28 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 6 to a total of 277.
