Maxis Berhad, in collaboration with local artists, just released a music video in support of Malaysians during the Movement Control Order (MCO).
The telco company earlier held a livestream on YouTube debuting the music video titled ‘Make It Through’, in partnership with Astro and XENO Entertainment.
Maxis’ Head of Brand & Partnerships, Tai Kam Leong and Managing Director of XENO Entertainment, Prashan Chitty, together with local artists, Faizal Tahir, Zee Avi talked about the collaboration and pledge campaign during the virtual livestream.
Joining them in the livestream were other local artists; Nanasheme, Wafiy, Elyya Keesha, Alyssa Dezek, and Nabila Razali, who are all involved in the music video as well.
During the livestream, Tai firstly gave gratitude to the front-liners, essential service workers and government bodies who have continued to provide support to those in need.
Following that, Tai said they want to do whatever they can in order to help those in need, inspiring the campaign and collaboration for the music video with local artists.
Chitty followed his sentiments, and the local artists involved all thanked Maxis and XENO for giving them an opportunity to be a part of the music video.
As part of Maxis’ #KitaSapotKita campaign, the music video itself took 10 days of indoor recording.
