Malaysia’s First Virtual Reality Theme Park Opening In March

With just a goggle and some cables visitors to Malaysia’s first virtual reality theme pack can now experience unparalleled gaming and journey to realms while seated in the same place. Serba Dinamik Group, the company which already about to complete the high tech theme park will be incorporating hologram technology into the venue.

The park will be located in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, and will be opening by the first week of March. Serba Dinamik had invested RM13 million to develop the D’Virtual Park — RM8 million for its development and RM5 million in its collaboration with Startup Borneo. The collaboration with Startup Borneo is to seek networking opportunity for start-ups in the digital technology segment.

To be housed in nine blocks of three-storey buildings, the D’Virtual theme park would feature seven main attractions, including free-roam virtual tours, thrill rides as well as a battleground. Game offerings can be customised so that it can be enjoyed by all players, regardless of their skill set levels. Highlight of the park is the customised hologram theatre show, giving visitors a revolutionary form of cinematic experience, think Star Trek and the holodeck.
