With the Movement Control Order (MCO) set to be lifted on April 28, many are glad that we finally can get back to our normal routines. But keep in mind, an extension hasn’t been announced yet, and if there isn’t, it doesn’t mean the coroanvirus is totally eradicated in Malaysia. However, with yesterday’s number of cases at an all time daily low of only 36 cases, it’s hard not to be optimistic.
That being said, on Twitter, the latest trend is ‘After MCO’ with a plethora of Malaysians chiming in on plans after the MCO, or what they’ll look like after the MCO’s lifted, and a bunch of other hilarious observations and tweets. Truth be told, I can relate to some of em’.

One thing that’s clear from these tweets and the others swarming on Twitter right now, is everybody just misses food, HAIRCUTS, boba tea, and their friends. Of course, we should as a Nation, still be wary of the Covid-19 virus, and not go overboard on the very first day the MCO is lifted. We’re still feeling the effects of the coronavirus, cases are still ongoing, even though it’s been declining by the day.
It’s hard not to be happy about finally being able to leave the house after being cooped up for so long, but we never know what might happen in the coming days. Either way, let’s exercise caution as we continue on our day to day lives after the MCO ends.
