With the trend of luxury fashion brands creating their very own line of Android watches, Louis Vuitton is following suit by presenting its first smartwatch offering, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon.
At first glance, the Tambour Horizon looks similar to the traditional Tambour watch but swaps the physical hardware for a digital update to Google’s Android Wear 2.0 platform. However, the brand isn’t really marketing this as an Android Wear watch, as one can see from the dramatic, actor-filled promotional video.
The Tambour Horizon features a 390 x 390 AMOLED touchscreen underneath a sapphire crystal, while the watch itself offers a 42mm stainless steel case.
