DJI and LINE entered a collaboration to offer customers and fans of both companies a special edition Spark. Officially named ‘LINE FRIENDS (BROWN) | Spark’, the drone features the lovable Brown from LINE’s mascot lineup as the design for the body of the petite rotary drone.

The body of the Spark is now brown in colour, as well featuring a decal of Brown. The theme continues as well to the controller, with a Brown sticker on the front of the remote control unit. The whole set will be packed in a cute box, complete with Brown’s visage on the front holding the Spark controller.

On the matter of the Spark, nothing much is changed from when it was first launched last year. It weighs 300 grams, features four non-retractable motors and rotors, as well as shoot in stabilised HD 1080p videos with the 12MP 1/2.3” CMOS sensor. It also features a 16-minute flight time per battery charge and can go up to 50 KM/h following subjects. It has a 2KM range from the remote control, which connects using either Bluetooth or WiFi.

Other features include gesture controls to control the spark with, as well as the new QuickShot Intelligent Flight Mode. This mode allows professional-level video capture with a single touch of a button.

The ‘LINE FRIENDS (BROWN) | Spark’ is now available from the official DJI online store for USD 399 (RM 1,627). However the official DJI store does not ship to Malaysian addresses, so you will have to find a mate to get you the drones shipped here.
