LG Debuts First Android Wear 2.0 Version Smartwatch

Google went with LG this ‘time’ pun intended with the roll out of its second version of the operating software designed for smartwears, Android Wear 2.0 was installed in LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport for the first time. Devices that will not see daylight in our country anytime soon. Sigh!

Anyway, as for the features 2.o promises to fair better in terms of usability, with Google Assistant we can find more uses for the smartwatch now. The LG smartwatch is built around these updates, and still able to retain its aesthetics. Comes in three designs and finishes—silver, rose gold and titanium—and compatible with snap-and-swap 18m leather and silicone bands.

Available in titanium and dark blue, it comes with a elastomer strap, NFC for payments, GPS for tracking exercise and navigation, a heart rate sensor for workouts, and cellular connectivity.

Meanwhile for the rest of the smartwatch makers with similar OS, Android Wear 2.0 will be available for all supported watches in the coming weeks.
