
I know many are still wondering how to make the most of their Android watch, heck even Apple watch is looking more like a novelty that what it promised to be. Is the smartwatch ahead of its time or heading towards the endless pile of “things yo don’t really need” graveyard?
Not so soon we think, with Googles new update of the de-facto smartwatch operating software used by most manufactures, Android Wear 2.o promises to offer glimpses of potentials for the device with Dick Tracy like functions. While one day you will be able to have a decent conversation with your watch, 2.0 with Google Assistant its a start to that goal.

Personalised Watch
One watch for all occasion, you can now personalise your Android Wear always-on watch face with information and actions from apps. A tap on the watch face can lets you order for instance an Uber ride, start a workout, or get in touch with someone.
Enhancement to Google Fit now lets you track your pace, distance, calories burned and heart rate as you’re walking, running or cycling. Allows measuring of weight-lifting reps, push-ups, sit-ups and squats. When connected it can also allow calls and messages, stream tunes from Google Play Music. Apps can now be installed directly onto the smartwatch while still accessing apps from the phone when synced.
One of the major update has to be the Google Assistant now used on the watch, this would make accessing much more convenient, as trying to navigate with fingers can be a problem on the tiny screen. Languages available is English and German with more coming soon.
