Reports has surfaced that Chinese vendor Huawei will be releasing the upcoming Google Nexus phones for the Mountain View based tech giant, the leaked news also profiles the model will sport a 5.7 inch screen with fingerprint sensors. News on Google releasing two new Nexus this year has been going around, supposedly to be one of a large screened smartphone and the other be designed by LG will be slightly of a smaller screen of 5.2 inch.

According to leaker @evleaks the Huawei Nexus would come in 5.7 inch with QHD Quad High Definition screen with a 2560×1440 pixel resolution and a metal body, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor with fingerprint reader. The time frame for the release of the Nexus, based on Google’s usual release should be something by year end.

As for why the to different screen sizes, it could be Google emulating Apples success with iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, the larger screen would cater for the media content segment and the smaller screen for a the no frills segment. The current Motorola Nexus 6 launched October last year came in a 6 inch screen which required palms like Kobe Bryant to hold, it put off some consumers, but did appeal to aunties and uncles, but we are sure Google wanted a wider audience than that.

How far are the purported leaks true? Well the “leaker” is known to be pretty accurate with his prediction in the past, the screen size details has been out for sometime but precise point on specs and features by “leaker” could lead to the reveal to be real.
