China-based TV company enters the fray.
The Malaysian TV scene is about to get really interesting as KTC, a China-based company, is about to bring their curve TV to the market soon. Dubbed the OLED TV 55L83F, this curved TV is the first curved TV to launch in the Chinese market. Coming in at only 8mm thick and featuring an OLED panel, the 55L83F is one of the thinnest and lightest curved TVs available on the market.
Besides the size and weight of the TV, the 55L83F sports a self-luminous feature thanks to its OLED panel. This feature contributes to a more accurate blending of RGB colours, a wider viewing angle, higher contrast and more vivid colours which allows it to boast a colour gamut coverage of 115%, 25% higher than that of an ordinary LCD TV. The OLED panels also feature an extremely short response time of 0.001 ms, which is 20 times faster than what the human eye can detect. This allows the TV to capture various moments accurately, weather in football, basketball, speed racing, or gaming at 60 FPS.
Complementing the 55L83F is a built-in advanced octa-core processor which allows it to support its intelligent operating system. This system allows users to say goodbye to the bad experience of operation delay when using the TV. The implementation of this powerful hardware allows the TV to be turned on within a few seconds, allowing users to enjoy the vivid sounds and images immediately without waiting. In the audio department, the TV itself contains a powerful sound device, allowing its sound output to be comparable to a specialised Hi-Fi sound system.
While there is no launch date as of yet, expect the KTC 55L83F to be in stores near you before the end of the year.
