Jessy Taylor, an Instagramer and ‘influencer’ in the U.S. has had her account banned on Instagram. She claims that ‘haters’ on the platform were consistently ‘trolling’ her and just hated her for no apparent reason. The Instagram ‘model’ often posted pictures of herself in bikinis, and other suggestive behaviors. I’m not vilifying her for doing it, because at this point half the world does it and it’s pretty normal. But, her reasoning might seem a little off. Imagine having your whole income being at the mercy of Mark Zuckerberg, and then complaining about getting a ‘real’ job. The fact she’s so condescending is probably one of the reasons she’s even in this mess.
She mentions that she’s done some shady things before, and doesn’t have any ‘life skills’. She says she’s in LA just to be on Instagram, and that she doesn’t want to lose that.
“I know people like to see me be down and be like them and be like the 90 per-centers. The people that work 9-5. That is not me. I am in LA not to be like that.”
According to INSIDER, Jessy has previously been in some hot water before;
“Taylor has previously faced controversy, which she didn’t want to talk about on the record. However, she did say that she apologizes for her trouble with law enforcement and the streams of her online making racist comments.”
And to top it all off, she called the police to report her ban on Instagram and how it felt like a murder. Sigh.
Taylor told INSIDER that her Instagram account being deleted felt like “a murder” and that the person who was instrumental in taking it down posted screenshots and bragged about it.
“I felt like it was a homicide,” she said. “Like somebody murdered me and then went online to say, ‘I murdered this girl.’
“I called the police actually and told them about this, and they said you can’t compare a murder to this, and I was like, no, that’s exactly what it felt like.”
I mean, intense video, but still, try not to be so obnoxious in your execution. Just because you were lucky enough to be able to make money on Instagram and being an ‘influencer’, don’t put down people just trying to make a living. I mean, that’s just uncalled for. But it does serve as a grim reminder to all ‘influencers’ and Instagrammers, that it can all be gone in a matter of seconds, so try to keep a backup in mind.
