In today’s “In Case You Missed It”, a few weeks ago, TellTale Games announced they will be closing for good. Many reports flooded in, on whether in-production games will be completed. Fans were concerned about The Walking Dead: The Final Season.

According to Twitter, USGamer’s Matt Kim simply tweeted “Ep 2 is the last one”, indicating that The Walking Dead: Episode 2 was the last to be released.

TellTale Games CEO Pete Hawley issued a statement, “It’s been an incredibly difficult year for Telltale as we worked to set the company on a new course. Unfortunately, we ran out of time trying to get there. We released some of our best content this year and received a tremendous amount of positive feedback, but ultimately, that did not translate to sales. With a heavy heart, we watch our friends leave today to spread our brand of storytelling across the games industry.”

A skeleton crew of 25 will continue working on Minecraft: Story Mode for Netflix and it is set to be the final game the studio will release.

Telltale Games had been releasing games since 2005 and among the games released were a handful of Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) based games and some other popular movies of the time, like Jurassic Park and Back to The Future. There were even some indie titles like, “Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People” (based on the internet pop culture comic series, Strong Bad) and classic hit “Tales of Monkey Island”.
