HTC will be making an announcement in New York come 20th October, what we know is it will be running on the latest Android Marshmallow operating software. Rumour has it and also supposedly leaked news shows the Taiwan based smartphone company will be unveiling the HTC A9 or Aero, with @onleaks even had images of dummy unit of the phone.
The images revealed a dark coloured HTC featuring curved edges and symmetry of an iPhone, even complete with rounded rear camera. Early news which we can’t corroborate now claims the HTC One A9 is likely to feature a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920) resolution with Amoled display; 2GB of RAM; 16GB of inbuilt storage; expandable memory; a 13-megapixel rear camera; 4-UltraPixel front-facing camera with OIS and BSI sensors, and a 2150mAh battery. That it will sport a metal build body and to be 7mm in thickness.
All is left to speculation at the moment, and HTC has just posted a black and white teaser video on the upcoming product, which leaves no clues on what to expect, maybe just the colour and possible material (a full carbon fibre phone perhaps!) used on the new device. The tweet link that leads to the event page informs on a collaboration with Tidal, the streaming service from Jay Z.
