HP Malaysia today unveiled the Spectre Folio, their latest in the premium? Laptop market. The range of Mostly what is to me at least, unique, is the world’s first leather laptop. Yes, you read that right, a laptop encased in leather. No a cover, it’s body is built into the leather itself. The Spectre lineup by HP has always been about the looks, and thinness and for lack of a better term, fashion. Not only does it have what HP are claiming is 100% genuine leather, the laptop is also a world’s first to have a gigbit class LTE Intel based laptop. So that means you’ll be able to insert a SIM, and use data anywhere you go. Which is a pretty nifty feature to have.
Being made of leather, the Folio comes with some pretty cool configs, and not to mention style. Maybe leather is the next big material for our devices? Who knows. The Folio can be configured to be set in a traditional laptop mode, tent mode, and tablet mode.
The laptop is now available in Cognac Brown, starting RM 7999. A steep price, but if you wanna be one of the few who owns a leather laptop, it might be worth the money. For more information on the Folio, check out the link here.
