HONOR has launched its latest foldable smartphone, the HONOR Magic V5, claiming it to be the world’s slimmest foldable at just 8.8mm. Despite significant hardware and software upgrades, the device retains its previous retail price of RM6,999.

Powered by a 5,820mAh silicon-carbon battery and the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the Magic V5 comes with a 64MP periscope telephoto lens offering 100x zoom, AI imaging tools, enhanced durability with aerospace-grade casing and triple-layer inner screen protection and IP58/IP59 water and dust resistance.

Its productivity features include a 7.95-inch display with a Three Split Screen multitasking interface and cross-platform file sharing between iOS and HONOR via HONOR Share and HONOR Connect.

The foldable is available for pre-order until 24 July, bundled with free gifts worth RM3,497, including a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 speaker and screen protection plans. Trade-in rebates of RM400 are also being offered, along with a 0% interest 24-month instalment plan.
